Change is Good - Part III: The First Week

Well, the first week has come and gone. It was busy, hectic, and at times frightening. But I have not felt quite so excited to go to work in a long time. The cases were many and varied that I saw, and I was given a lot of room to step in and do the work.

The people are indeed - as I had hoped - warm, welcoming, and supportive. I feel that I have made a move that has put me among people who have a practice more like the one I want.

The relationship with the surgeons, anesthesiologists, et al is much more collaborative than I had thought.

I like it. I like it a lot.
